Fantastic food, all locally sourced produce, not just your average pub grub and a great atmosphere! The dogs are always greeted by all of the staff and dogs are allowed anywhere inside and out. I have been going there for years. What’s even better is muddy boots are also welcome! I can’t recommend this pub enough. They also have rooms available should you have guests needing a place to stay (or for you to stay instead!). Located right on the door step of Thurlbear Woods/ West Hatch, it’s perfect for drinks or lunch after a good walk with the dog!
Taunton’s little gem! It is a wonderful restaurant with a big bar for drinks and a nice outdoor seating area. There are booths, big tables and the food is fantastic and a bit different. The owners are very friendly and welcome dogs with open arms! Pop into town for a bit of shopping with your four legged friend and you can head out for lunch! Truly Taunton’s best kept secret for dog owners!
